Qualcomm CDMA Technologies
I handled quality and reliability issues of Qualcomm chipsets and their optimized power delivery network. In collaboration with Qualcomm research team, I also developed an advanced optical character recognition (OCR) module for car plate recognition. This research provided new insights into the noise reduction mechanism to stabilize the letter recognition accuracy. A drone system with the developed recognition module was presented to the former Qualcomm CEO, Paul E. Jacobs. My team received the best performance award.
Boston Scientific
I automated a reporting system for all medical accident cases globally. For about ten years, this was processed manually due to the non-uniform data structures and diverse languages. My development accelerated the reporting process to be approximately 60 times faster and 800 times more cost-effective than the previous reference-based classification method. At the final presentation contest, I won the best presentation award as a result of the improvement, recognized by Vice President.
